Belyn Paulin

Middle School Science Teacher, Middle School Executive

After graduating from Idaho State University I substitute taught in Pocatello and then worked at Aberdeen Elementary. Later, my husband and I relocated back to the Boise area where I worked at the Tutoring Club for about 8 years while I served as a children’s minister at the Meridian Vineyard for just short of 10 years. During that time my husband and I had our three boys.

We had heard about VCA through a friend and fellow teacher. We knew that it was time for our family to look for a different option than public school, where the influences from peers at school and the education my son was receiving was not what I would have hoped for him. We wanted more for our kids. Our hope was for them to be encouraged in their faith, receive a great education, and to have friends that share similar values. VCA has been such a great place for our family to thrive.

As my journey at the school continues my three sons are learning to be great young men, to know God and his word all while we are learning from great teachers and at home as a family on home days. I have been blessed as a teacher, a mother, and part of this community that we have grown to love.
